FashINdie Knits Trend Report 2/1/08
Vogue Knitting declares winter 2008 is all about bright, bold and contrasting colors in knits (pictured above).
There are other trends I noticed in the mag, also with knits, and I promise much more than knits next week, if any!
- Tweed - in different forms from blazers, on different people than librarians, and in various fun colors!
- Leather belts over knit sweaters - I love this! One could try sewing one on with a cinched when belted sweater, or using various other belts. In black, brown, red, anything! Try punching up the color to mix this with the first trend!
- High, defined waists in different stitches, like vertical ribbing - often mixed into two patterns to further break up the waist. Gohgeous!
